Rex Rankine holds a bachelor of Commerce Degree from Sir George Williams University. He has over 25 years experience in the financial industry as Director, Principle and CEO of a Private Bank & Trust Company, a brokerage house and numerous corporations.

Mr. Rankine gained valuable auditing and accounting experience with Cogan, Landori, and Dube, Chartered Accountants in Montreal, Canada. He also spent several years with Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co (now KPMG) in the Cayman Islands where he honed his accounting skills. Mr. Rankine was a founding director and partner of a class "B" unrestrictive Bank & Trust Company and a shareholder and partner of Cayman Corporate Services Ltd., a company providing a full range of corporate and director services to a substantial client base.

He was the founding partner and CEO of Fiduciary Trust (Cayman) Ltd, a trust company providing a full range of trust services, company management directorships, mutual fund administration, accounting and a full range of stockbrokerage services through an affiliate company, Cayman Islands Securities Ltd., of which he was a founding partner and director. He also served as a director for numerous mutual/hedge funds.
