Philip Rankin holds a BSC degree in Accounting from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, a Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the AICPA in the state of New York and an active member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants since July 1985.

Mr. Rankin has over 28 years experience in the Financial Industry providing accounting, auditing, corporate and consulting services. Mr. Rankin started his professional career with Deloitte & Touche and remained with the firm for over twelve (12) years. During his tenure with Deloitte, he was a senior manager in their audit and assurance division providing services to an array of clients that included major banks, trusts, captive insurance, mutual and hedge funds and private investment companies.

As a corporate service provider, Mr. Rankin have tremendous experience in the formation of all types of Cayman Companies (ordinary and exempt), provision of registered office, corporate secretary, directorships and all other corporate duties.

On the consultancy side, Mr. Rankin provided financial advisory services and acted as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to various corporations. He currently sits as a director on numerous Hedge Funds Boards and provides financial advisory services to large local and international companies.

Co-Founder and Director of RBR Director Services Ltd., operating under an unrestricted manage companies licensed granted by CIMA. Mr. Rankin is a member of The Cayman Islands Directors Association (CIDA).

Founder and managing Partner of Rankin & Co. (Certified Public Accountants and Consultants). Co-Founder and managing partner/director of Rankin Berkower (Cayman) Ltd., a Cayman Islands Monetary Authority approved audit firm that currently provides audit services to numerous hedge funds and other entities regulated by CIMA.

In past years, Mr. Rankin was also an Associate Professor of Accounting, lecturing at The International College of the Cayman Islands for over six years and had the distinct pleasure of witnessing several of his students becoming Certified Public Accountants and enjoying lucrative careers in the Financial Industry.
